Thanks to whoever put this almost 40 year old clip on You Tube.

An excerpt from the BBC 1975 series on the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood- The Love School. Patricia Quinn plays Elizabeth Siddal, and Ben Kinglsley plays Dante Gabriel Rossetti. Although dated I've added it for interest as it has aimed for some  historical authenticity capturing Lizzie's  simple unfussy dress and hair style.  The incident of  William Holman Hunt pretending for a joke he had married her did  take place much to her distress. Rossetti  was furious over Hunt's joke  telling his brother that it was " a disgraceful hoax"
